for a speach. i am running for student council and have to write a campainge speach. not sure how to start. can anyone help please.

1. take a topic to be in line with the theme of the campaign.
2. 'note your main ideas' or the message you want the audience to catch from your speech, try to find 'fresh' and 'new' ideas
3. look at speech examples in arranging the genre and structure of the speech
4. be confident knowing that you have interesting topic to say and start writing the first line, start with 'good morning/afternoon ladies and gentlemen' :p
5. read it confidently and in a proper tone
if you still find difficulties, go to your teacher/lecturer/supervisor for advice and guide
