Did you have an eight track player when you were growing up?

Yep the last 8 track I remember having that worked was "Detroit, Rock City" by Kiss

Dangit Goldie, you would have to make me think about my age wouldn't you? Yes I did have that and a record player too. I had a collection of 200 8 tracks and over 250 albums. There are long gone now. But I do have remixes of old rock on CD's and still listen to much it.

i did not.

one of my best friends from high school drove (and still has it running) a dodge dart with a working eight track. we would go to thrift stores and buy every single tape they had (sadly only about half of them worked). and just drive around drinking bad 7-11 coffee and playing them super loud. at the risk of offending anybody, we liked to drive through black neighborhoods blasting patsy cline and hank williams at three am as retribution for all the people driving through our neighborhood blasting rap and waking us up at all hours of the night.

My parents did....I used thiers all the time. No Way!!!!! Yours still works?? What 8 tracks do you have?

yes i had one in my first car and i still have the car with the 8 track still in it and it works

grandpa did and I'm older than u...hard 2 believe that u listened to them.....

if you left the tapes on the dashboard they would melt
