Who is Burton Cummings and what do you think about him?

He is a Canadian singer who was lead singer for the band The Guess Who. I like American Woman and These Eyes good tunes. He has also had a solo career and out of those songs I liked A Fine State of Affairs.

Burton Cummings was the lead singer of the band, The Guess Who. They had hits in the 60's and 70's, among them "She's Come Undone" and "American Woman" (remade by Lenny Kravitz).

They occasionally still tour.

What made you bring his name up, is it the new commercial with his most famous hit, "Stand Tall"? I remember liking the song. He did about 1/2 dozen albums in the late 70s and early 80's on his own.
