Who thinks comparing Rugby To Football is stupid?

ME!!! I cant understand why any1 would even compare them, football is rubbish when rugby isnt.

You might want to re-think that answer HEYY. We had a pack of football players fresh out of high school this past season. They had never worked so hard before they wandered onto a rugby pitch. It was not uncommon for them to be throwing chunks after the game. Because rugby play does not stop, some times going for 4-5 minutes a phase, it requires high level of endurance. As far as injuries, broken ribs, hands, arms, legs are very common even the "Gentlemen" divisions. I don't recall seeing any football players still playing with a tampon up their nose.

When people ask me, I say "European football? Yes. American football? Not so much."

Acutally, football players are more faster, stronger, and athletic in all areas than Rugby players. You see football players get hurt all time, even with all that padding. If you think football is a rubbish sport, go try playing a full season without getting hurt.

because they are two different sport i know this for a fact cause i play both American football and rugby they may look

the same but they are not to me rugby is much more simple to play American football in the other hand it realy hard cause it test your adrenaline with your reaction to the plays any you need years too master it but not in all position, im talking about the Oline and the Dline is very hard too be effective if you dont have talent rugby the job is simple too handle and its all about experince .

rugby is a mens game....football is run 3 seconds and sit.most players didnt even touch the ball in the whole game

Count me in! I strongly believe that rugby is a game for hooligans played by gentlemen and football is a game for gentlemen played by hooligans!

You should have just stopped with your original question I agree it's stupid to compare as they're different sports.
