What would be less offensive synonyms of "not too bad"?

I'm writing about the car, how do I say that "the car is far from the best, yet it's not too bad" without sounding offensive for those who have this car? I'm looking for something like "fairly decent" Any suggestion of appropriate expression?

No, it doesn't. Some people tack the words at the end of their "question" when you know darn well that they meant to be offensive. Example: "Why are Christians so dumb? No offense." Yeah, right....
