How much does a transportation company charge to transport a senior 35 miles?

the trip is about 45 minutes

Update:

This is for someone who can walk but will be transported with a wheelchair from Cleveland to Akron Ohio.

    It depends on the area, and what kind of transportation company, and if the senior has government assistance.

    An airport-shuttle type shared van trip will likely cost $100 or so, maybe a bit less, but that's in SF Bay Area, where population density is high and one may expect to do a pickup near the dropoff location. If this is somewhere else where it's a one-way trip, it may even go higher (it's known as "dead-head", or empty return). This assumes the senior is mobile (i.e. can get on/off vehicle unassisted)

    In general para-transit companies costs less, wheel-chair vehicles cost more, and taxi's cost even more.
