Heard the one about the venerable monk?

A venerable monk locked himself away for decades studying the original text of the bible in Aramaic. Nobody had heard from him for years. Then one day he screamed out in agonising pain.

All the other brothers come running in to see him crying with his head in his hands. "What ever could be wrong?" thought the monks.

The venerable monk looks up and says....

"It's CELEBRATE NOT CELEBATE!"

    They've been living in celibacy (hope the spelling is correct), instead of celebrating. For those of you who dont get it.
