What's the best glue for the handle of my fav coffee mug?

It's basic ceramic - good clean break

Update:

I'm goin' with the goo. They have an allpurpose (non shoe) product. Bro-in-law provided good anecdotal reports with it as well.

" Shoe goo" or " Shoe goop"

No joke, I used this stuff on many projects over the years and have yet to be dissapointed in the results. In fact, in about 1996 I had occasion to use it on my favorite coffee cup handle. Same thing, clean break. I used this shoe goo and it's still holding great.

Since the ceramic so porous, basic cyanoacrylate glues might not work very well. Try a ceramic epoxy.

Unfortunately I've really never had much success with ANY glues.... the best that worked so far is a 2-ton, 5 minute two part epoxy. Good luck.....

use a 2 part epoxy or urethane. CAs/superglues no good- not heat or moisture stable.

for that matter, no matter what you use do not dishwasher the mug (often). all general adhesives are not the greatest for hydrolytic stability. if you wanted something water-strong forever, use a silane primer or an adhesive that incorporates one. also heat the mug for final curing- high glass transition very important for durable bond...

You can get specialty ceramic glue at some hardware stores and most craft stores.
