Is there a good freeware alternative to Photoshop?
I have in the past downloaded a freeware piece of software that is very similar to photo shop and was very happy with. However i cant remember the name of it. Can anyone give me any Suggestions?

GIMP is a great free software you can use for a lot of graphic tasks like retouching photo, image and photo editing). I strongly believe GIMP is the best free tool for photo editing available online nowadays. It's as good and as powerful as photoshop but GIMP can be use also used by a lot of professionals.

You might want to try the 30-day trial from www.adobe.com. It's free and definitely almost as marvellous as the original version.
Or you could try the GIMP as people have suggested. A few more alternatives are Helicon Filter, Adobe Photoshop Album (yes, it's free), openCanvas (which is way popular with Japanese artists; version 1 is free) etc.

Corel PaintShop Pro is a good alternative, but it isn't freeware. It's price is comparitively less than Photoshop, though.

u might want to download a free photoshop instead.
Using a bittorrent client is the fastest, safest, and most reliable way to download real softwares with no viruses. Usually keygens, serial numbers or cracks are included to fully activate the software.
A good bittorrent client such as "Azureus" will accomplish your download efficiently.

Now a good torrent index site will help you locate the software of your choice.

Simply type in "Photoshop" in the search area and several versions will appear.
And if you have your bittorrent client (Azureus) set up properly, as soon as u click on "download torrent", your software should begin downloading automatically.

The Gimp. It does pretty much everything that Photoshop does and it's free.
There are versions for Windows, Linux and MacOS.
I use it and would recommend it to others.
