What Do i Need so i can Play Gears of War System Link with friends?

We Tried Cross-Over Cables ,Two Rouders please explain me what i need so i can buy it?

    Simply what i did was took my ethernet cord that came with the 360 and just plugged the other end to the other 360. I was pretty surprised.

    Plug the Ethernet cord into each of the Xbox 360s....
