What is the most amount of money that you've had stolen from you?

This is too weird. Someone stole my check book and wrote checks.So far my attorney found 5 (in a period of 7 days). Total amount? more than $20.000

My sister had her bank account wiped out a couple of

months ago, someone had somehow scanned her ATM

card somewhere ! She didn't even know about it until

the bank called her to say that she didn't have enought to

cover her mortgage ! There was a police report taken

and her bank ended up giving her a new ATM card and

replaced most of the money in her account through some

type of insurance.

As for myself personally, it cost me $2000 to help a friend

in need, that I haven't seen again in like 7 - 8 years.

I'm real sorry about what happened, I feel terrible !

God that's awful! I bet you would like to get your hands on them. I was using Paypal, not anymore, and I was hacked into by some crooks in Russia and France. I worked with my bank and was not out money do to the fact that millions of people were at risk in this crime. Best of luck to you!!

I havent had money stolen from me directly but I've had MANY irreplaceable things taken from my house that were either worth a lot or were priceless to me.

About $200. It was my 3rd day in Africa and my wallet was stolen. I cried and cried and wanted to go back home, but I toughed it out and stayed.

well it was money already spent, it was like 500 bucks worth or cd's from my truck, it sucked soooo bad. there was like 300 cd's in there!!

$80.00 from a neighbor came into my house to use phone-person do longer lives the neighhood thank god.
