Making a Mix CD for new Girlfriend! Is it too Early?

If the songs say "i love you" but you guys haven't said "i love you" then YES ITS EARLY. if they are cutesy songs, but not THAT romantic, then it's good. For now, I think it's best if you give her a cd that has NO love songs because its a cute thing to do and then if you wait a few weeks more give her a love cd, as long as its not OVERLY mushy. You don't want to scare her off.

OK, I can see how some think it is too early for the love/romantica (in spanish) songs, and I do agree, BUT here is a good idea since you all share the music interest and you say that u kno her taste in music, so y dont you still make the mixtape but make it of songs that she REALLY likes like the ones that make her jump up and scream, "THATS MY SONG!!!" it doesnt have to be all romatic/love songs. And this will make her realize that u pay attention to the things she likes and i think it will impress her. Anything extra that u do to show a woman that she is really being paid attention to is always GREAT!! So hook her up with a mixtape that she will really enjoy, but it wont be sending the message that u are soooo in love with her w/ obvious love songs. Hope it works out!!!

It really depends on how you think she might react to this, especially this being before your first date. I would figure out if she might think its too mushy or she just might think its the cutest, romantic thing ever. Sometimes, go with your gut and if you're meant to be it will be OK! Have fun, and good luck with the CD! I would give her the CD, maybe the first one with just a few songs... and gradually work my way up to a longer list. Hope everything works out.

I have noticed the girls are saying its a good idea, maybe to early though.

And the guys are saying a mix cd doesnt mean anything or is a bad idea.

I think I would go with a womans opinion on this question seeing as a woman is going to be receiving it.

A mix cd means almost nothing in the grand scheme of relationships, so it's never too early. If she doesn't like it it's a good sign that you're not a good mix and if you're not then the sooner you figure that out the better.

I think it is sweet. Any girl loves a gift like that, becasue it means that you care and are willing to put a little effort in to a relationship. She will love it.

Too early i'd say. Give it time, there are plenty of other ways to show her you care. Flowers are probably a bit more suitable.
