Do the Nuggets realistically have a chance to win this series?

The Nuggets do have a chance, but they must accomplish a few things!

Nene must get more touches in the low block and he has to stay out of foul trouble.

Camby must play like the defensive player of the year and control the boards.

Melo and A.I. can't do it all, someone else has to step up and make some shots.

They have to make their free throws. They have gone to the line way more than the Spurs. (Even though you wouldn't know that considering all the whining about officiating)

Game 1~ plus 15 at the line

Game 2~ minus 6 at the line

Game 3~ plus 16 at the line

They could have won game three! Check out the box scores if you don't believe.

This is coming from a Spurs fan! Go Spurs Go!

If the Spurs don't win it all, my next choice is the Nuggets!

I don't think they will, but they do have a chance. If they do win this series, I don't believe they are going to get past the second round. Their play is too inconsistent.

  • yes. they have legitimate big men in camby, nene, and najera.

scoring and penetration is there in AI and Melo.

they just have to be able to push the tempo against the spurs, which is easier said and done. they should also be able to cover duncan on the block and shore up their D on the perimeter. i think denver's capable of that.

they also need to score in transition, getting easy points.

and pray the refs call this series good.
