Okay - totally gross question but I need to know.... I was eating a yummy yogurt - my last one?
and I put it down for a second to do something and my kitten stuck his little head in it and I THINK, not sure but I think, he might have had a taste.... You see where I am going - I REALLY wanted that yogurt!! Can I still eat it or is that totally disgusting??? What would you do?

Years ago, I was picking the small bits of shell from a pound of jumbo lump crab meat ($22.00 a pound I paid for it!). I wasn't finished yet, but had to use the bathroom. During the minute or so that I was gone, my cat had gotten up on the counter and had eaten some of the crab meat (stuck his head in the colander that I drained it in. You bet your sweet @ss I rinsed that off and used it. At nearly $25.00 per pound, I wasn't going to chuck it because of my cat!
With the yogurt--well, that's very inexpensive, but if you wanted it, I'd say scoop off a thin layer of the top of the yogurt and continue to eat. You'll be fine. :)

No, it's fine to eat it. They say that dogs mouths are a lot cleaner than a human mouth so it's probably the same with cats too. My cats lick things that I'm eating + I still eat them.

Best not. Next time buy some for you and some for the kitten - though I am not sure it is good for kittens - the sugar and all that.

I would eat it. My cats lick the butter and we still use it. They also stick their heads into our drinks, mostly when we aren't looking though. One even plays with the ice cubes with her paw.
