Jonah Adriel?
I love both names and would like to use both...Does it sound okay?
Yes, for a boy. Adriel is a Biblical name for a boy...just to let you know...it's not a made up name at all.
No...well at least no Angel Adriel mentioned in my Bible. There was at least one Adriel in the books of Samuel...pretty much just a mention of him, though, I think...I'd have to read it better.
Funny, I already have a son named Gabriel. Adrian is an accepted boys name, and because Adriel isn't spelled Adrielle I think it will get along fine, especially being a middle name...I'm glad not all parents are too afraid to try something new, naming wise...names would be pretty boring if everyone was named the same things.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about Adriel. I know it was biblical male name, but alot of those unusual biblical names are not used so much today, and often not in the same context. To me it sounds more like it would be used as a Girls name in todays socitey, because it is similar to Adrienne, or Arielle which are both girls names. Don't get me wrong, I really love it and I really love some of those different biblical names, but if I were going to use Adriel, I would probably use it a for a girl.
What about Jonah Gabriel? Gabriel is Boy Gabrielle (Gay-bri-elle) is Girl. But hey if you like it go for it. It's a middle name anyway so that's okay.

For a boy or a girl? I would assume a boy, as Jonah is a Biblical boy's name that everyone is pretty familiar with. But Adriel sounds like it could be either.
I do like Jonah though, for a boy. It's still not a very common one, and a unique name is hard to find for a boy. Best wishes.

I like both names too. Isn't Adriel an angel name? I knew a teenager with the name Adriel, the only thing he didnt like was that it sounded a little fem. Definitely better as a middle name.

I really like it.. I've always been partial to the name Jonas. Adriel sounds good with Jonah, and if you like it, go for it!
