How do you get friends on myspace...?
who aren't trying to sell you something? I'm fairly new to myspace & I'm just wondering. It seems like I get 10 friend requests a day, but they're all fake profiles. I've tried to search for friends by general interests & always get the complete opposite of what I'm looking for.

You don't. Myspace is a leech and it's an unsocial network. Take up a hobby outside the house and you'll find plenty of real friends.

Make sure you state on your profile that you are open to friendships, if you make any friends, have them refer you to their friends etc. Also, post a question on here "Friends Wanted" give them your link to your space. With a little persistance and patience you will be swamped with emails.

mm just go to explore in myspace and you can write the age, you can put I'm here for friends etc... then just send them a message and talk to them.
