If you are told you need a blood transfusion it has to be a life or death situation. They dont just do those for the fun of it.

Yes, I would have one if a doctor told me I needed one.

Yes, if I was told I had to have one or I would die, then I would have it! Well, that actually did happen to me. When I had one of my children I started to lose way too much blood and needed a transfusion. It saved my life.

Yes, I would. I do not think a doctor would tell me that unless I needed one. And the blood supply has been safe for quite some time now.

Heck ya! Because blood has nothing to do with my soul. The body is only a shell. And I want to live a little longer then having a painful death.

I have had two that I can remember - it's not a pleasant experience - but I am sure it makes you feel better in the long run - so I think I would go through it again if I really had to.

i was told in 1980 that i needed one after giving birth, that's when this whole thing about aides started, so i refused one,in 1984 i needed one again after i gave birth, i refused one, in 1988 i was told i definitely needed one,so my dad put some of his blood away for me until i had enough,i just didn't trust it,I'm sure it's safer now than it was then!
