Who thinks this judge/attorney filing a lawsuit against the dry cleaners is just disgusting?

This guy has an issue with his ego and it's not right what he's putting this family through, over a pair of pants..Its very sad and I feel kind of sorry for him, but also would like to tell him off..

It is sad that a judge is abusing the legal system over a pair of pants. He should be disbarred and laughed out of court because when something like this goes to court it costs taxpayers money and he is taking advantage of that. Then the amount of money he is seeking will only put the dry cleaners out of business. Everyone has had a problem with their dry cleaners at some time or another, as with anyone you do business with...Wal-Mart, the gorcery store, the local hardware store whoever. I guess I would like to know what purpose he thinks he will serve by doing this.

The media has grabbed this case and sensationalized it. When a lawsuit is filed, the plaintiff does not ask for an amount so I do not know where they came up with the $67,000,000.00 figure. There is no question that he has the right to sue for his lost pants. The question is: to what is he entitled as damages? You wouldn't be "disgust(ed)" if he were asking for $100.00 in damages. If he does pursue the action frivolously, there are penalties in both the law and the judicial code of conduct. I hope that, if what is said is true, he will be reprimanded for his conduct and the family that owns the cleaners will be paid their attorney fees.

This is a prime example of lawsuit abuse. It's also proves that just because you finish law school, doesn't mean you're better than anyone else -- it just means you're a lawyer. What kind of moron rents a car to go to another dry cleaner anyway?

If anyone should respect the courts and what they stand for, it should be this guy. He is a JUDGE, for Christsake. I cannot think of a more ridiculous waste of the taxpayers' money. He should be disbarred and then impeached. He is seeking, like, 65 million dollars....for a pair of pants?1? I'll give him a pair of mine, if he'll get lost. GMAFB.

Obviously he is a judge so he knows how to manipulate the system, he has a vendetta against these people, they even offered to pay for the pants, but he won't accept it. Its pathetic. If these are the kind of people we have as judges, I feel bad for the future of our society.

Sorry, haven't heard of it. I can't see what he could be putting his family through. It's about time that someone stood up to the dry cleaners, they mess up people's clothes. If they can't clean it, they should leave it alone and simply return it without charge.

You should know, if you don't already, that lawyers have no shame.
