If you have had a window replaced with upvc french windows or a patio door, what was the approximate cost, and how long did it take? Thanks

I bought my house with them in it and I think they averaged around 1500.00-3000.00. It should only take them an hour or so to put them up.

I have just had a sliding glass door replaced with a fiberglass frame french patio door. The fiberglass frame can only be colored with a fiberglass gel. It works great, though, and I have the color i need . The difference between a steel frame and fiberglass frame is about $450.00 more, but it is for my lifetime anyway. It will not rust, warp, or deteriorate in any way because of the weather. Mine is double paned, with blinds between the panes that can be opened or closed from the outside. Best price is from lowes.

Paid £1300 for my french doors about 2 year ago from a reputable company. Took about 4 hours.
