Does anybody know why people who get everything in the world don't appriciate anything?

Did you ever appreciate the shoes your mom gave you? Or the food you ate daily? Probably not as much as when you had to pay for it yourself. When you put effort into something, no matter how small, it becomes important. When you put nothing at all, how can you have any pride or appreciation?

Because they don't know what it feels like to appreciate anything because they've always had everything handed to them and they never had to struggle or work hard to get something they really wanted.
