Bocadillo de crema de cacahuete y mermelada.

    Sandwich--Bocadillo

    Peanut Butter--Crema de cacahuete

    Mermelada--Jelly; Jam

The words mani (peanut butter) y jalea (jelly) are used in Latin American countries. In Spain you would say it as I wrote it. It all depends on how you would like to say it.

Too easy Mermelada which means Jelly, but you can get technical and say for example 'mermelada de fresa = strawberry de uvas = grape peanut butter, now that's something I don't remember, the way I would say "peanut butter and jelly sandwich" is mermelada con cacahuate's cacahuate = peanut.

    It depends on the country:

Mexico: Un sandwiche (san-wee-chay) de crema de cacajuate y mermelada.

Argentina: Un sandwiche (san-wee-chay) de mantequilla de mani y dulce (or mermelada).

Peanut butter is not looked at favorably south of the border. It's virtually impossible to find in Argentina!!

    Sandwich de cacahuate y mermelada.

In my family it's the easiest way to say it and be able to have someone understand you.

peanut butter = mantequilla de maní/cacahuete

jelly sandwich = emparedado de mermelada/jalea

depending on the country you would use either maní or cacahuete and mermelada or jalea.
