Mavs fans......If Dirk develops his post game, where do you see them next year.?
In my opinion that's his only missing piece. If Dirk can come back next year and have a solid post game, Dallas will be VERY hard to beat. His aggressiveness in the post will be the positive spark that might lead to a Championship.
Try and answer the question.....it's WHAT IF he does.....don't tell me what he doesn't do because I already know.

Dirk didn't even TRY and get in the paint the whole series.
Pathetic.
Excluding GS
Dallas is hard to beat as is.

First of all, he is a 7 footer with amazing range...that's a positive and a negative. Sure, it's great that he's got these "unique" skill sets but he's a big man! He needs to learn to develop a back-to-the-basket game (if not something in between like Garnett) and be more of a defensive presence instead of hanging out on the high post all day. His rebounding is pathetic for a man of his size (God knows he can move but why doesn't he force the issue, he's usually the biggest guy on the court!). I think because his jumper is abnormally good (at least in the regular season), he'll NEVER develop a post game or play in the paint with the men. Thus, your question seems to be moot...since he'll never develop a post game, what positive spark do you foresee?

dirk is not going to magically develop his post game or get one during the off season... and the Mavs will never win a title...

does not matter now because Warriors beaten the top seed Mavs and Proves to be a threat to every NBA team who survived the first round.
