What is the easiest way to get to Downtown Toronto with the DVP closed?

Coming from the east or west on the 401, it does't matter.

Update:

Say Yonge and Front streets.

Take the Bayview exit from the 401. Go south and it will take you all the way downtown. West to get to Front St.

If you want to go to the Yonge/Bloor area then take Bayview south and exit at Rosedale Valley road, it will take you over to Yonge St. just above Bloor.

Bayview is less busy than other alternatives.

Yonge Street is also closed on Saturday. Go to Bayview and turn south and then continue on the extension through the valley, and come out on King Street

Take the 427 south to the Gardiner Expressway east.
