Volvo hunt first ? using the map?

1. Once you have a pirate chart from the Volvo dealership, and have registered, you will need to fold the Pirate's Chart to reveal the different numbers of the coordinates.

2. Near the top of the map, there is a skull with a line running directly through the skull. Fold away from you on this line.

3. Near this fold you will find the word "Primo", by the "O" of this word is another line that runs through a ship , fold towards you on this line.

4. Two numbers will be next to one another when you fold, namely 34 on the small portion, and 15 on the large portion.

5. Fold away from you on this same line, and two other numbers will be next to one another, namely 18 on the small portion, and 41 on the large portion.

6. Put these numbers together, with the number from the small portion coming first in each instance 3415 from the forward fold on the chart, and 1841 from the away fold on the chart.

7. The final answer is 3415 1841.

The clue under FAQ on the volvo website says imagine making a paper boat (or something like this). Then it says to look at the lines drawn on the map. I'm not sure you're actually supposed to make an origami boat (trust me i've tried!!) But there are fold marks printed on the map. Also, within the fold line above the skull (from the email clue) and the fold line going through the ship (from the email clue) there are 8 numbers 'drifting'...ie not attached to a line. I just don't know what order to put them in....If they ARE the right numbers!!!!!!!!

not sure what we are to be seeing on the paper map, maybe folding it the wrong way? any hints? thanx pete the pirate

i think the phrase 'the pirate chart it keeps the key' may mean that you dont actually use the printed number on the front, but must use something else instead. that is, those printed numbers are too obvious and easy to use, so you must obtain the numbers to join from something else on it. anyone agree, disagree? thanks. kj

fold the map on the line through the skull

then fold the map on the line through the ship.

you should see a number where the fold is.

then fold the line where the ship is the other direction.
