Assuming you can't get an advance on your credit card, there are few options.
You could borrow from a friend, relative or co-worker. if that's not possible, talk to your landlord and explain your circumstances, as long as it was some oversight.
Or, did you (a) lose your job, (b) never had a job (c) spend the rent money on something stupid or an addiction (d) get in over your head on a place to live?
I'm guessing it's the last one because $2500 is a lot to pay for an apartment, so perhaps you are renting a house or condo. If so, and you are single, try getting a smaller and cheaper place. Move in with a buddy temporarily until you get your finances straight.
Your welcome. Dad.

Do you have any valuable assets? If so, sell them off. Otherwise, you may have to get a loan, which is NOT a good idea for a means to pay off overdue rent. You will end up paying much more in the long run, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
Another suggestion would be enlisting help of friends or family to temporarily loan you the money if you are planning to pay it back.

I would place an ad on prosper.com it is a site where people/peer judge whether or not to give you a loan based on you circumstances, they way you look(sincerity), and willingness to pay back the loan(that you are actually going to pay the loan back). Try it you have nothing to lose and all to gain, but you must act right now!!!!!
Option B. Try going to beneficial finance company they offer personal loans as well. You should have a company like them in your city please look into the book for finance companies.
But I am sure prosper can help you! You can join for free and place an ad for others to look at and bid on you! i hope that I have been helpful.

Instead of taking a loan, have you discussed the possibilty of a repayment agreement with your landlord or letting agency?
Many will accept a partial repayment of debts due each month with a low, or non-existant interest rate.
After all, it's preferable for them to do that rather than sell a debt to a collection agency for a fraction of what is owed.
