The Crazy Mountains are located between the Musselshell and Yellowstone rivers.

The declination can vary depending on where in the Rockies you are.

Magnetic declination at 40 N latitude and 106 W longitude (in the middle of the Colorado Rockies) is 9° 59' E.

    In the Crazy Mountains themselves,

    the declination is 12° 51' E.

See the link for a magnetic declination calculator for any point on the globe on any given day since 1900.
