Did Medusa ever get credit for her incredible lifelike sculptures?

    Dude, those weren't sculptures, those were people, living breathing people, until turned to stone by her gaze. They weren't sculptures.

    How friggin' insensitive can you be? What if the relatives of one of those people was on YA right now? Geez! Use some common sense.

    Lol, great question. She dam well should have. Especially seeing as unlike Roman art of the time which was obsessed with perfection, Greek sculpture was all about getting it as realistic as possible. The best sculptors carved everything down to the last mole or wrinkle which would have made hers well and truly a notch above the rest.

    Not only that, but she had another advantage over most artists. We all know that artists become much more well regarded after there death, well according to the myth Medusa continued creating her 'art' even after being beheaded.
