How do I replace a lost cell phone without upgrading the service with the provider?

    just go to any store and buy just a fone.... which will work with ur carrier, find out if they are GSM or CDMA....then accordingly buy a fone, and ask the provider to give u a new sim card (in case of GSM), and ask them to activate it for the same number u had....
