if you take a microscopic look at this phenomenon, you can see more temperature means more molecular activity. So molecules inside the system start moving fast and ran into each other. This somehow increases the viscosity. because it is Measure of the internal friction of a fluid or its resistance to flow. So we might say higher temperature make the molecules get in distance from each other, which means less friction, less resistance, less viscosity
It's just my theory though!

much of the confusion comes with the definition of viscosity, which refers to a fluid (gases count) resistance to flow. Saying the viscostiy increases, or the fluid becomes more viscous is saying it is more resistant to flow.
