You do know that George Bush had the wells capped in Texas recently didn't you? Research this real close over internal Natural resources, and see just how much George Bush controls the rate of fuel that is refined in the US and you will be appalled by the results.

Supply and demand is responsible for fuel prices, nothing else. Oil companies / OPEC regulate the supply part, YOU and everyon else who uses gas control the demand part.
Just think of how prices would drop if 1/2 of the people in the USA would start riding their bicycles to work tomorrow, and all SUV owners would trade in their car for something with 1,500 cc displacement or less. The price would most likely drop considerably.

No one is responsible. There is a greater demand for it in other countries now so the higher bidder gets what they want. Bush does not own nor is responsible for the rise in oil price and gas. Geesh i wish you people would stop blaming and research this.

Just because someone says the president is responsible for something doesn't mean it's true.
Especially lately, Americans are more interested in entertainment than ANYTHING else. If it might be entertaining, someone will say it.
When it comes to information about things like this you have to assume it's false until it is proven true beyond any doubt.

Oil Companies and our demand set the prices......Carter caused us a shortage, hence His Fault.
Bush has NOTHING to do with gas prices, Iraq has nothing to with oil or prices.
Look at bottled water..$1.50 a bottle ( Convienance store ) = $6.00 a gal. Thats a real crime...

He froze the price of oil and started a trade war? Maybe? Next time read up on it a little.

Oh, I think it's no coincidence that the cost of gas has nearly trippled during Bush's reign in office. And I have little doubt that he's profited from it. This should be no surprise to anyone. After all, how many politicians aren't corrupt?

Because the right-wing blames everything on the Democrats.
But be fare-Bush isn't responsible for te high gas prices. His bosses at the oil companies are.

the oil companies i think are making just an assload of money right now, the price of crude at $63 per barrel but the price is like 75 cents per gallon higher when the price per barrel was the same,
I think it's b.s. it's like $3.35 per gallon for regular unleaded where i live
