Some states have a 72 hour law on major purchases giving you 72 hours to come back to your senses after a hard sell.
You may also ask the dealer to help you out. Some will as they want your repeat business.
Be nice but firm if neccessary and you may get what you want.
P.S. do it immediately before the paper work is all finished if possible
Note to carman: Texas does have a law that covers high pressure salesmen preying on people. It is mainly in reference to in-home contractor sales such as siding or home repairs. I was not sure if this law extended to high pressure salesmen at the dealerships. It REALLY should as most are sleazy in their tactics.

First, there are no state or federal laws that allow you 3 days or 72 hours to change your mind about a car purchase or lease. This is a common misconception based on a completely different situation.
Second, you can't simply change cars in the middle of a lease. You have to end one lease early, and start a completely new lease. Unfortunately, ending a lease early can be very costly.
I'm not sure how the dealer played this deal, but you could be in for a big financial problem, even with a cheaper car. And you may not be able to get out of it if you've already signed a contract.
You need to get someone there who is more experienced than you to help you out and give you advice. You've already shown that you don't know what you're doing. This is serious. You won't get the right help on a Yahoo Answer web site.

If you signed the Lease then your stuck, you might try to get it traded in for a smaller model but you will likely pay a high return fee, I did that years ago and It cost me 5K to get out of the contract. A lease is the worst thing a person can do because after you pay the near purchase price you have to give it back. I hope someone else can help you more than I have. Good Luck and GOD Bless

You were "conned" into something you can't afford? You signed the contract before you picked up the truck, you have eyes to read the numbers on said contract, you and only you know what you can afford.
You were NOT conned, you just feel stupid and trying to place blame elsewhere. Suck it up, pay until the lease is up, then buy something you can afford.
