Do you think that mainstream media tells you the truth?

Everything media tells you is one view on facts so you should always get your information from several sources. However I doubt that any serious journalist from any of the respectable medias sits down and lies to us. So yeah, they tell us the truth. But as they see it.

sure
every sports athlet that gets a positive drug test
yeah right
every movie star gathering
yep
it just avoids talking about poll-i-tics
plus dont mention the war wounded /or fatality rate
we get a fraction of the live time info
but we get the top accident of the day
we get the top court report
but as for anything resembling all the new [non neo news] media is a joke
world reportage is virtually non egsistant but that we are seeing a lot of riots
you can only get so much news into half an hour of sport and crime reportage ,and the spectacular star court case ,
we get a 30 second grab of some political president or election [the neo con side] ,but here is the sports

The media can't tell an outright lie because there are laws to protect us from that. However, they are a for-profit business and have their own agendas so they may not show a side to a story that might upset the station's owner or advertisers.
It's always a good idea to get your news from a variety of sources so you can get as many sides as possible and form your own opinion.

of course, you like Fox. they're mainstream you recognize. do no longer attempt to declare it somewhat is not any longer. Watch "Outfoxed:Rupert Murdoch's conflict On Journalism". a superb documentary the place you will study that Murdoch grew to become Fox precise wing for the time of Regan's presidency. The "close UP" approach used by O'Rielly while he would not trust somebody. How on a daily basis there's a memo to each and all of the journalists approximately what they're to debate on-air and the thank you to spin it. Former Fox workers tell their thoughts of ways **** relatively is at Fox. Watch. study. maximum information agencies are biased. examine issues your self.

Absolutely NOT
It's all controlled and heavily censored and Rupert Murdoch has got his grimy hands in all of it at some level (he's such a globalist)
I don't even have cable anymore...(I was addicted to Fox News until I watched the movie OUTFOXED- google it)
I made a decision to stop making these media giants rich only to hear their propaganda....I just listen to ALEX JONES' radio stream at: http://infowars.com/

Yes, as they see it - the problem being they don't have the time or resources to go into many details and sources to get a story, some of which may contradict their initial focus.

MSM - ABC, NBC,CBS, NPR, PBS, NYT,LAT,CTribune etc for the most part only tell you what they want you to believe and don't always present both sides.
FNC, CNN - Glenn Beck tell you for the most part both sides and you decide.
