Do you find maintaining and cleaning your motorcycle relaxing?
I have to admit I actually feel great relaxed, inspired & dying to go for that all important ride of the day after a good clean & polish of my ride, hate cleaning the car, yet I will polish the bike until it shines like a (fairly) new penny. (It is a 2nd hand bike with some body work damage done by the previous owner but that said, still looks good.)
So what about you?

maintaining yes...except for the money aspect. Always adding or upgrading a little here, or there.
I don't care about making the entire bike perfectly spotless. It'll get dirty the second I leave and I don't have a garage to keep it in. I mainly care about having everything ready to run hard and setup for the day.

I didn't build the thing to pamper. Bikes are meant to be ridden. Ya can polish them at the end of the day.

Not recently. There's a stuck screw holding the defective stator on. My motorcycle is lying in pieces all over the garage until I get that undone, get a new stator and gasket, and put it all back together.

I LOVE IT. MY BOYFRIEND JUST GOT HIMSELF A BIKE SO HE COULD RIDE WITH ME. WHEN WE'RE BOTH POLISHING OUR BIKES IT MAKES THE RIDE SO MUCH BETTER BECAUSE WE LOOK GOOD RIDING AND WE KNOW IT!!!! TOO BAD IT'S RAINING OR I'D BE RIDIN IT NOW!!!
