my definition of brainstorming:

putting heads together to come up with ideas/methods/ways that aid in solving problems/improvements/future goals.

what it means to me--working the lazy brains :) hardwork, friction when minds get together because people have different views, learning to work together (compromise), additional knowledge, build a strong bond, work towards one's goals, etc.
