How do I change my mobile number on Yahoo messenger?

uh. in your messenger menu bar(found at the top of the window), click Messenger, then Preferences. You can also use Ctrl+Shift+P for shortcut. In the General Category, you will find the button "Edit Mobile Device." Just click it then a new window should appear in your screen for editing. yeah.

Nothing they say to do works,i have been trying for 2 weeks now and still nothing!!! It was simple to add one,why is it so difficult to delete and add a new mobile #!!

i cant change my mobil number in my settings, i cant even find my settings. yahoo wont let me use my e.mail on my new phone until i accept a code sent to my old number which i no longer have. help?!
