Who will win the Indy 500 pole?

Indy 500 qualifying is this Saturday, May 12. It would be hard to bet against Ganassi Racing and Dan Wheldon, but there are plenty of good teams going for the fastest time.

Update:

It's Dan Wheldon, not Sam. Good job Indy Fan.

I would say Dan Wheldon, Helio Castroneves,or Marco Andretti perhaps have the best chance, but it will be easier to guess later this week.

    Sam Wheldon

Dan Wheldon. He's won most of the races so far this season and he has been fastest everyday of Indy practice so far this year. Plus, he's a former winner and looked dominant last year at the 500 until late trouble bit him.

Hard to say for a Penske fan like myself

I think that Dan Wheldon will. He is on fire and his car is running great. He is going to want this race more than any other race and he will pull it off in the end.

    Gannasi- Wheldon or Dixon

    I think Sam Hornish Jr.

He has Penske's power and plenty of experience at the track. He has always been fast at Indy and this year is no exception. Also, with this possibly being his last entry as a regular in the series, he may be on fire this month going for win #2.

probably won of the Ganassi or Penske boys gets the pole, yet out of this record pal Rice and Dan Wheldon must be contenders for the pole or atleast the front row. go group Penske

Marco, finally pulls out of his sophmore slump and does something amazing. Reality wise it will be a Penske car.
