In second life,how do i change the way my avatar walks?

You need an Animation Override or AO. You can find simple ones in world at places like New Citizens Inc (NCI). Some clothing (such as shoes) will also have an AO built into them.

One of the better ones is from Huddles. They have an AO HUD (heads up displays) that can change a number of animations you do, as well as control things like dances. The Huddles warehouse, next to the Huddles store sells a number of animations and dances.

Usually you will need to update a control card that specifies the animation to use for each type of movement, such as walking, running, flying, sitting, falling, standing, etc. The Huddles HUD can also rotate through standing poses.

Another item along the lines of an AO is an auto emote. I use the one by Outy Banjo. You can find it in SLExchange or in world, search for Outy Banjo. This hud watches what you type and makes your avatar emote based on words you type. So if I type in "lol", my avatar will laugh. It is fairly advances and makes you avatar act more realistic and less like a mannequin.

You should use an animation overrider, I don't know any places that you can find one inworld, but there are many alternatives on slexchange website.

How to use SL Exchange,

Register for an account on slexchange web site, transfer some lindens to your SlExchange account by paying to an inworld SLExchange ATM. You will get the items inworld after your purchase, usually in 5-10 seconds.

you need to wear an animation overider also called AO. sometimes it does not work over areas which prevent people from running scripts. I happen to sell both male and female versions (manly walk and sexy walk). Just to be politcally correct, a man can also do a sexy walk if wanted to.
