Thank you. It bothers me when some people who answer questions just show contempt for the question. I am new to yahoo answers but I can see already the only way for yahoo answers to survive is for people who answer questions to sincerely want to help the person asking the question to get the knowledge they are looking for.

Many times I do not answer a question because I feel I have nothing of value to contribute. I get zero points for not answering a question but I would rather approach this with honesty rather than just getting as many points as I possibly can.

There are two sides to every story so of course I am happy to hear the 'other side'. I am all for a kinder gentler world. We all need to think before we speak. We don't have to agree with someones opinion but we do owe respect to one another.

Buzz, I'm in total agreement with you. And you handled it better than I could have. Anyone who misses this point already has their closed minds made up anyway. And they just aren't worth the effort. Good job my friend.

Well My Goodness, I just happened to peek in Politics and saw this. This does not only happen in here, it is all over YA. You should see the Crap that goes on in Religion. There are alot of disrespectfull individuals in this World, and they are full of Hate and Misery and want to share that with others. I try to just ignore them and not allow them the space in my head to worry about their comments.

If you could give a true and honest evaluation of "anger, hatred, filth, disrespect, defamation, `zingers. And any other vile form of attitude"...You would not just be remiss in overlooking the Bush bashing left then, wouldn't you. Personally I find their inane attacks just so trying, repetitive and common...That, I believe, if we leave them left alone that they will annihilate themselves.

Months ago I suggested a category dealing solely with International Politics and Yahoo turned a deaf ear.

The thing I like about this site is that you get to read things from another perspective. Sometimes I vehemently disagree but there are other times where I may change my mind on something because someone made a valid strong argument in favor of their side.
