help?!?...girls only Q...about periods?
hi
i have a realy strange period.... it can be anyweres from 2-6 weeks apart and last for 3-8days....
before my period I eat literaly 3x's as much as I normaly would... and I gain like 10 pounds... during my period its normal, but after im never hungry and drop about 10-15 pounds....is this normal??..and why does it happen??

Irregular periods are common when you're young. Mine evened out a little as I got older, but they never really come *exactly* on day 28, usually a few earlier or later.
The eating might be a sign of hormonal changes right before your period. Lots of women crave chocolate. Some of the weight gain could be bloating too.
Every woman is different, so don't worry, but if you feel you need to see a gynecologist, you could do that if it will make you feel better.

Im the same way and have been for years I only really eat before my period and then I have to make myself eat. Its the hormones.

you still young, and ull get an irregual period for at least a year and a half, or more, but just to be safe, go see ur doctor

I also think you should go see a doctor. You go from one extreme to the other..... maybe your doctor can suggest something (maybe a change in your diet by eating more fruits and vegetables.....)

YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!! Why is it that other 14 year olds have their periods but I don't???
