If methyl orange is used as an indicator and the ratio of the acid to base form is 1.64, find the pH.

The pKa of MO is 3.7

The Henderson-Hasselbalch equation is:
pH = pKa + log [base form / acid form]

So,
pH = 3.7 + log (1 / 1.64)
