Does anyone have any new information on why the bees are disappearing so fast?
I became aware of this problem a few months ago and it scares me. Bee populations all over the world are declining at an alarming rate. There are a few theories like man made chemicals, cell phone signals and enviromental changes affecting the bees. Does anyone know for sure what's happening and how to stop it?

a parasitic mite ,changes in temperatures, disease and killer bees,
also the spraying for mosquitos kills other insects in advertedly
90% of the feral (wild) bee population in the United States has died out.
In the Netherlands bee diversity is down 80 percent in the sites researched,
and that "bee species are declining or have become extinct in Britain."
the numbers of wildflowers that depend on pollination have dropped by 70 percent.
If bees continue to die off so would the crops they support and with that would ensue major economic disruption and possibly famine.
Bees are not the only polinators but if these things are happening to bees we can bet on it that other insects are also in trouble ,on top of this many people are spraying for mosquitos ,with drastic effects .
so much follows the insects in the food chains ,that we can expect a lot of very bad changes in the environment .
Albert Einstein said ,that when the bees disappear we have 4 more years to live
only time will tell what is in store for us ,and that time is running now .

I thought maybe a good idea for this problem might be to cultivate some bees in captivity under ideal conditions and release them into the wild. Also to make a real effort to create or protect habitat that they could survive in. I'm not sure exactly how serious the problem is at this point, but i think protective measures should be taken sooner rather than later. I've heard about the cell phone signal thing too, and i kind of believe it. More studies definately need to be done on this issue.

Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that there is no more 'natural' space for them to be bees anymore. We have cities and towns and thriving populations of bees are generally looked upon as nuisances so people never hesitate or think twice before getting rid of them some way or the other. Enough people doing this may have caused a decline in the bee population.

Nobody seem to know exactly what is causing it. But some have speculated on some type of fungal or some other infectious diseases. And also, bees are known to have pretty weak immune system compared to other insect.
But bees can multiply quickly and after some time they'll rebound. Most likely they won't do much to help the situation. They've seen this happen before. So it isn't the first time the bees have died off like this.

Bees die a few minutes after they release their stinger. Since alot of people are being stung because of the scent of their perfume or just because bees are dieing rapidly. While other bees are sucking nector from flowers a person may step on them and they will die.
