Windows Vista?

When I try to download something and save it to my hard drive, it tells me that I need admin. rights. I am the owner and admin. of my laptop but for some reasons I have to save things on my desktop. I am new at using Vista operating system. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Try this. Go to the control panel and click User Accounts and turn User Account Control "Off".

If it comes up with User: Admin and Password: *blank* than just try hitting ok. If that doesn't work then theres a password set for it. You may be able to try User:User Password: *blank* and hit ok. Try it out. Good Luck!

Contact the company or the shop were you bought it. They can sometimes put their name and password into your computer. Otherwise it will be in your name with your own

    password.

    Hope this will help you!

    Good luck!
