What was the NICEST thing anyone said to you in this week just ended?

My partners daughter (who is very shy and doesn't warm up to ANY ONE too easily) gave me a mothers day card in which she wrote " I know you are not my mom but you mean a lot to me and I hope you have a fantastic mothers day" THAT made my day fantastic :)

I don't know any of that jargon that you've used... and if it is good, then I hope I am not mistaken....

The nicest thing that someone said to me occurred while i was in training. our supervisor was not in and we had a trainer come in at the wee hours of the night... This person was there to teach us about a new system of things. However, several of our members decided that since the supervisor wasn't in, they would waste time by bashing the supervisor.....

it really bothered me because they wouldn't do that when she was there.... so, when i began to speak, she said that I had a unique voice..... she said that it was soft and calming.... and it put her at ease.... i simply said, 'thank you'.....

it's been a while since i heard something that nice said.....

I don't want to go through the whole thing, but a friend made me feel alot better when I had a bad day. There is nothing better than someone who is willing to listen. He said some very sweet things.

My dearest girlfriend has come from the UK just for mine and my partners birthdays this week. At our party last night she said that she could not imagine life without me.That we knew each other so well. At that point the song `true colours` by cyndi lauper came on and we both sang it to each other.The lyrics go..`and i see your true colours shining through..i see your true colours..and thats why i love you..so dont be afraid and let them show you...your truly colours..are beautiful like a rainbow

I received emails thanking me of my friendship, and thanking me for comments made over this forum regarding a father's advice to his daughter. I was told that I was loved several times. For me, to make someone else's day and to be told that I am loved by a stranger really humbles me beyond words.

I was told that I had the best toque hair ever! (A toque is the tall cylindrical hat worn by chefs.) Having toque hair is similiar to hat but more extreme due to the fact that all three feet of my hair has to fit inside the hat...

A dear friend after hearing about something bad that happened at work said that I was right about my talking about my gay friends didn't make me a gay just should that I was being supportive and proud to have them as friends

When I told a new friend that I like women, she replied "I love you, and I love everyone". It is always nice to be accepted and hear those words.

Well, my daughter told me that I was the best mom in the world & on here my friends seem to see something in me that the people in real life don't lol
