How can I tell if my CPU has a USB 2.0 port?
Like I have an ipod, and I have 4 different ports on my Cpu ( dimension 1100 ), but I don't have the paper that explains what type of port I have, but for my Ipod, they say it is best for me to use a 2.0 port.

Just connect any USB device and Xp will bring up the Non USB 2.0 Message it will tell you if have any 2.0 USB Ports or if you need to upgrade your computer
You can buy USB 2.0 Card for about $10 to $20 at any of the sites below .

Generally computers after 2000,(year), had USB 2.0 installed, so you're cool!

do you have owners manual with you computer? (if you bought it from retailer> Dell. if you do go to dell web sitre look for manual
