Question for human service workers...?

I work in youth development. One of my coworkers is having a really hard time with boundaries. She makes herself crazy trying to help the teens in her program. For example, one of the girls has multiple health issues that aren't being taken care of. None are life threatening...like needing glasses. She makes the proper referrals, but when they aren't followed through, she gets obsessive with MAKING it happen. I'm trying to find some online resources for her. Our boss should be taking care of this directly, but that won't happen. Any organizations or articles you can suggest?

Update:

LOL...thanks, Anita. I agree. My boss doesn't want to intervene (sigh) and asked me to find articles for the worker as she's a "voracious reader." Others, if you have suggestions, please let me know!

You are trying to find resources to help your coworker or to help the teen? Unfortunately there are a lot of people in the human service field that have a lot of their own unresolved issues and have very indiscriminate boundaries. There is probably nothing that you will be able to do for her. Good luck to you.
