How I Met Your Mother season finale? What happened?

Robin and Ted broke up, because they both realized that it wasn't going to lead to marriage. They were trying to wait until Marshall and Lilly left for the honeymoon so that they wouldn't be bummed out. But Barney overheard them and so they told him about it.

There was a brief point when they tried to incinuate that Robin was pregnant, but it didn't pan out. Most importantly, Ted's monologue definitely confirms that Robin goes on to live in Argentina, Morrocco and some other places, "and I ... I met your mother." So as most of us imagined, Robin is not "the one."

Marshall and Lilly finished their second wedding, and the theme was the fact that every time they tried to eat, someone came up and distracted them, and their food would get taken by the wait-staff.

At the end of the episode, Barney and Ted are talking about how they will become each other's wing-man again and Barney says, " ... it'll be Legen -- wait for it ..."

and then the credits roll ... it was a perfect ending for that show.

I love it, I hope CBS picks it up again. The actors are great, and the writing is Legen -- wait for it ...

And now they're back together.
