How has Yahoo answers changed your life? I'll tell you mine u tell me yours?
I love answers I don't get on here daily but I get here. I have learned a few things one what size tires my van has on them by asking without having my husband do it. I know he is a busy man so why not help him, it also helped me learn things about people and what they think about and it has helped me know what not to do in some things. Also I found out why my sons gold fish had black spots on them which now he is back to his gold color. I think this site is really a cool place to hear stories without a face most the time, its a place where you know your not being questioned on a live talk show and you can say how you feel or whats on your mind that you need answers to or what people think.. its also one of the places you wonder about people and even get some great laughs and some sadness.

Yes, I'll tell you, I am a Yahoo addict! I used to have a life. I would only log on now and then. It took me 6 months to accumulate 10,000 points and reach Level 6 even though I get a fair number of "best answer" awards because I try to be thorough, informative and at least semi-interesting.
Then, March 17th, I reached Level 6 and became obsessed with seeing just how fast I could reach Level 7. Now my dog is ready to divorce me; my family and friends are planning an intervention; and I'm here wondering what I can do to score a few more "best answer" awards. Sad, isn't it? Because I already made it to Level 7! But I got addicted trying to get off Level 6 and now I’m hooked.
I hate to say this and hope it doesn't offend anyone but I'm beginning to feel like an "answers wh*re." <sigh> If I log in (which I do several times a day) and don't have at least three (3) notices of "best answer" in my inbox, then I'm bummed.
I find myself logging in before breakfast, as I wait for the coffee to brew. I log in from work during coffee break. I log in during my lunch hour if I can. I log in as soon as I get home from work just to see if anyone has given me a “best answer” award.
I had promised myself that I wouldn't do this after I reach my coveted goal: 25,000 points and Level 7! However, I’ve reached and surpassed that goal yet find myself logging in here and there to earn “just a few more points.” I gotta look into finding the Answers Rehab and checking myself in!

I think it is a great place too! I actually get on here everyday and answer alot of questions, I also like to ask as well.
There is really only one thing that I dont like here is when people ask obcene questions, which makes me sick. I dont hesitate to turn them in. Have A Great Day! :)

Y/A has given me great insight into human behaviors, motivations, and thought processes. It has also allowed me to have fun (and sometimes relieve stress) by asking and answering poll questions. All in all, it's great to have so many minds pitching in to help a person gain greater awareness or understanding of a situation.

I agree. I really love this, probably more than I should right now. (Instead of studying for finals, I'm perusing...) It's really interesting to be able to learn new things and help other people by answering their questions.
