there are other 2 endings you can see them in the DVD of season 6th.
* the girls are in the coffe shop and Carrie tells them that She and the russian are getting married.
* Same situation but she tells them that things with Big didn't work out, but she has them so she ends up single.
*the one we saw on HBO, they're chatting in the coffe shop but we just see them talking she doesn't said she is with Big, of course we know that because the next scene she is walking and received a call from John a.k.a Big

It was rumored that there was an alternate ending in which she goes to live in Paris and start a new life, but that ending was never seen. In that they are making a new Sex and the City movie, I guess we'll see a whole new chapter for the ladies.
