Internation pickup?
Im looking at a 1970 International Pickup its a long bed I havent seen it in person and it has a granny 4 speed but Im looking to buy it to off road and I can drive a stick but I'd rather have a 700r4 will this bolt up to the motor thats in it or will I need to replace the motor to? Thank ya'll for your answers
If the motors no good I will replace I'm just wondering in case the motors good becasue Im good at stick but I cant drive it can keep it from flooding and shift at the same time its for a Tuff Truck competetion.

The 700R4 probably will not bolt to the original engine. First, the bolt pattern is different and second, you'll need to have the computer and wiring set up for the 700R4. You can use a Turbo350 or maybe a Turbo400, but even that will probably require an adaptor. That's depending upon the condition of the engine; you may have to do a complete swap (383 stroker with 700R4) to get an acceptable combination.

Depends on the motor. Haven`t seen one for a long time but if memory serves correct they used a buick transmission. the v8`s were a combo of a few different manufacturers parts all grouped together. If it has a indented top to the bellhousing then it`s most likely buick. sorry can`t help you more. Not much info on the international harvester pickups.
