I would suggest you do it again.
If you are using the old mail version, follow these steps:
~Log on to your mail page at http://mail.yahoo.com/
~Click 'Options' at the far right of the screen
~In the 'Management' column click the 'Signature' link
~Edit your signature
~Click Save at the bottom of the page
In Beta Mail:
~Log on to your mail page at http://mail.yahoo.com/
~Click 'Options' at the far right of the screen
~Click 'Mail Options'
~Click on 'Signature' in the right hand column
~Edit your signature
~Click on a link to leave the edit box
~Click 'Save' on the pop-up box
Click "Options" in the upper-right corner of your inbox. There should be a link for “Signature” in the center of the page. Click on it and you can enter text or use color and graphics as you wish to create a signature for all your out-going email. If you’re using the beta version, go to “Options” and “Compose” is the second item on the left-hand column. You can create your signature there. Hope this helps!

You may possibly have a corrupt cache file -- it makes all KINDS of things go wonky. Try this: clear your history, temporary files (these will take a while!) & cookies, restart the computer and retry. Here is the HELP link for how to do this in different browsers: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/se...
